Open Question: MLB 2k10 franchise mode steup?

i have a franchise mode with 2 user controlled teams, the braves and the Mets. the injury setting is on, but nobody has been injured on either major league staff. however, a few guys are injured on my minor league staff. it has been approximately 60 games played and nobody has gotten injured. i am not sure if the automation settings are a part of the problem. on the major leagues, i turned all automation off, but for the minor leagues everything is automated and they are injured. is this just a coincedence? thanks for helping!...
